SAN FRANCISCO (AP) ” Train operators in California are now
banned from cell phone use while on duty, under a temporary order by state regulators.
The California Public Utilities Commission unanimously passed an emergency order Thursday to ban the use of cell phones and other personal electronic devices while operating a train.”

I’m sure someone in the state Legislature is already drafting legislation that covers the same thing. Expect a news conference soon.

In’t this a little like what is going on in Washington, D.C. with all the talk about increased regulation of the lending practices which have sent financial markets reeling? Where were these people five to 10 years ago when we really needed them?
Your crisis-driven, reactionary government at work.
