The actions of state Sen. Patricia Wiggins, D-Santa Rosa, at a hearing last week is suddenly the talk of Sacramento. Has she lost it?

Pastor Robert Jones of Oak Park United Methodist Church in Sacramento was testifying during an informational hearing about how California might cut global warming emissions. He said he wanted the Legislature to consider the impacts of any new regulations on various California communities. He was particularly concerned about making sure “the poor and underrepresented” were invited to participate in the process.
That’s when Wiggins interrupted Jones to say: “Excuse me, but I think your arguments are bull—-.”
