With the Feb. 5 presidential primary election just a week away, two big-name candidates have dropped out of the race. As expected, former New York Mayor Rudy Guiliani, whose campaign fizzled in Florida Tuesday, stepped down and endorsed Arizona Sen. John McCain.
Meanwhile, former Sen. John Edwards withdrew from the race for the Democratic nomination. Edwards failed to win a single state primary or caucus and finished a disappointing third in his home state of South Carolina on Saturday. Edwards has not yet endorsed either Sen. Hillary Clinton or Sen. Barack Obama.
Do you think he should? Even if he doesn’t, which candidate do you think benefits the most from Edwards’ decision?
